Bookings & Payments

easyCar Club provides a secure online booking and payments system for all member bookings. When you search for a car from easyCar Club we only show you cars that are available in the location, and for the period, of your search.


Each car has a profile, so you can see where it’s located, what it looks like and read the Owner's description of the car. You can compare cars at a glance using our features icons and you will also see a 5 star rating system and reviews by fellow members who have previously hired the car, all of which can help you decide which car you want to hire. If you have any questions about the car or availability you can message the Owner through our site. Some of our Owners now offer delivery of their vehicles. For a small additional charge, the Owner will drop off and collect their vehicle to a location of your choice, making hiring even more convenient.


The price you see is the full cost of the hire – there are no hidden costs. Prices are higher for Drivers under 25 to reflect our higher insurance costs.

Like most car hire insurance policies, there is an excess payable in the event of a claim. The amount payable is £600 per claim for most of our vehicles and £750 per claim for some higher value vehicles. This excess amount is reduced to £200 or £250 respectively if you purchase the excess reduction option for an additional £8.95 per rental day (or £9.95 per rental day for higher excess vehicles).


Once you have selected the car you want simply send a booking request to the car Owner. As soon as your request has been accepted, the booking is confirmed. Keep an eye out for Instant Book cars which can be confirmed immediately without needing a response from the Owner. easyCar takes payment in full for each booking as soon as the booking is confirmed, along with a deposit to cover the insurance excess. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of the rental once the Owner has confirmed there were no problems.

You will be sent a booking voucher which will contain the location of the car and all the details you need to get on the road. At this point we'll provide email and phone contact details for the Owner.


Our secure, online booking and payment system is available 24/7 so you can select and manage bookings at any time, but if you require assistance easyCar Club provides free Member Service support Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 6.30pm, and weekends between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
